Under the CoC certificate we conduct regular internal, group and external audits to ensure we operate within the regulations of MSC. FDA
FDA approval for seafood helps protect public health by ensuring that seafood products are safe, properly labeled, and free from harmful contaminants. The FDA mandates that all seafood processors implement HACCP plans, which are systematic preventive approaches to food safety. These plans identify potential hazards and establish critical control points to prevent, eliminate, or reduce food safety risks. Further, FDA conducts inspections of seafood processing facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards and good manufacturing practices. This includes monitoring the conditions under which seafood is harvested, processed, packed, and stored.

HACCP
HACCP certification is vital for the seafood industry. It ensures food safety by identifying, evaluating, and controlling significant hazards. Many countries require HACCP certification for imported seafood, making it essential for international operations. Companies can implement measures to prevent risks and reduce the likelihood of incidents. Advantages include improved consumer confidence, enhanced product quality, market access, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
